A giant ball of light dimmed with every pass,

She gathered up her clothes

And rolled upon the grass

She grabbed a square of dirt and tossed it to the sky

A snake slithered near her face,

and moved into her eye.

It blocked the dimming ball —

and brought the darkest night.
